Egg Mayo Sandwich – Quick & Easy Recipe

A great hit with kids as well as adults, Egg Mayo Sandwich is a delicious sandwich made with boiled eggs, bread, mayonnaise and spices. It’s superb for breakfast and a great snack for parties. Most importantly, it’s absolutely easy to get it togerther.

Here are the easy steps;

Ingredients                                                                  

  • Eggs  4 (boiled)
  • Mayonnaise  3 tablespoons
  • Salted Butter  2-3 tablespoons (soft)
  • Bread – Plain or Wholemeal  6 slices (I used white bread)
  • Mustard Sauce 1 – 1.5 tablespoons
  • Salt  to taste
  • Black Pepper Powder  1/2 teaspoon
  • Sugar  1/4th teaspoon

Method

Step 1
Boil the eggs for 7-8 minutes or until hard-boiled.

Step 2
Spread the soft salted butter on each slice of the bread and put aside.

Step 3
Peel the eggs and put in a mixing bowl. Add mayonnaise, mustard sauce, salt, pepper and sugar to the same bowl. Mash the eggs and mix with the other ingredients with the hep of a fork.

Step 4
Put the egg mixture equally on three slices of breads and spread evenly. Top the bread slices with the other 3 buttered slices and press gently. Optionally, cut the edges of the bread.
