Feel the heat with hot Chilli Garlic Chutney. A condiment to momos or dumplings. Ready in 2 quick steps.
Preparation Time 25-30 minutes
Grinding Time 3-5 minutes
Main Ingredients Dry Red Chillies, Garlic & Tomatoes

Ingredients
- Soaked Dried Red Chillies 8
- Tomatoes 2 medium (quartered)
- Garlic 8-10 cloves
- Ginger 2 inch piece
- Cumin Seeds 1/2 teaspoon
- Vinegar 3 tablespoons
- Salt to taste
Method
Step 1
Soak the dried red chillies in vinegar for 30 minutes.
Step 2
Grind soaked red chillies, tomatoes, garlic, ginger, cumin seeds and salt to a fine paste. Add a little water if the chutney is too thick. Check salt, add if required and grind for a few seconds.
Your hot and spicy chutney is ready. Serve it as a condiment to momos or dumplings. You can also use it in different starter recipes. It brings a unique flavour when added to wraps.

[PS: This chutney is very spicy but if you want you can reduce the red chillies as per your spice level.]
