Deep-Fried Fish Fillet gets me to drools even on a mention of it…Haha! Fancy having a fish with zero hassle of deboning or getting rid of pricks while eating? Dory Fish Fillet is the answer. Deep-Fried Fillet Fillet also reminds me of the very famous Fish & Chips. The recipe I am sharing today is that of Fish (from fish and chips). I am so sure if you try it for the first time, you will not be able to wait to make this appetizing dish again. Combine it with lemon wedges and aioli and relish!
Below are the steps for you all;
Preparation Time 10-15 minutes
Frying Time 2-3 minutes
Serves 2
Main Ingredients Dory Fish
Course Snack/Main-course
Level Of Cooking Easy
Ingredients
- Dory Fish Fillet 250 grams
- All-purpose Flour/Maida 1 cup
- Egg Wash 1 cup
- Bread Crumbs 1 1/2 cups
- Salt to taste
- Pepper 1/2 teaspoon
- Cooking Oil sufficient for deep-frying
- Lemon Wedges 2
Method
Step 1
Season the fillets with salt and pepper on both sides.
Step 2
Dust the fish with plain flour and tap off extra flour. Dip the fillets in egg wash till it coats the fish completely. Finally, dredge them in the breadcrumbs.Step 3
Preheat the cooking oil in a pan/pot. Gently immerse the fillets into the hot oil. Deep fry until the fillets are golden brown. Then take them out from oil and drain off the excess oil on a kitchen tissue.
Serve hot and crispy with lemon wedges and Aioli (French Dip/Sauce) or any other sauce of your choice. Better half and I love it for our meals along with deep-fried potato wedges.
